Tutorium UK public agent documentation

Public tutoring data that agents can use responsibly.

Tutorium publishes a read-only API and machine-readable discovery files for assistants that help people explore subjects, compare published tutor information and prepare a better first conversation.

The public surface never creates bookings, sends messages, exposes private verification documents or turns a published availability window into a confirmed lesson.

Read-only tools

  • Search published tutors by subject, level, exam board, delivery mode, area, budget or published weekday availability.
  • Read public tutor profiles with learner-facing details and verification indicators when those details are published.
  • Read recurring availability windows as discovery hints only; they are not bookings.
  • Read canonical subject guidance, topics, common exam boards and learner FAQs.

Discovery files

Agent discovery manifest · AI Catalog / ARD entry point · Machine-readable content snapshot · Expanded public knowledge

Agent safety boundaries

  • Never present published availability as a confirmed lesson.
  • Never expose or request private DBS, qualification, account or contact documents.
  • Never invent a tutor, rating, price, subject fit or outcome that the API does not return.
  • Never create a booking or send a message through the public read-only surface.

Common questions

Can an agent book a Tutorium lesson?

No. Tutorium exposes read-only public discovery endpoints. An agent cannot create a booking, send a message or confirm availability.

What tutor information can an agent read?

An agent can read published tutor summaries, subjects, levels, delivery modes, rates, verification indicators and recurring availability windows when those details are public. Private documents and account data are never returned.

Is published availability a confirmed booking?

No. Published windows are only a discovery aid. The exact time and lesson details must be confirmed with the tutor through the normal Tutorium workflow.
